What types of camps do you offer at Jungle Beach Ahungalla?
We offer a variety of camps including beach volleyball, yoga retreats and wellness programs. Each camp is designed to enhance skills, promote relaxation and foster community.

What accommodations are available at Jungle Beach Ahungalla?
Our camps feature comfortable accommodations ranging from cozy beachfront cabanas (for 4 up to 6 guests) as shared, double or single rooms (without aircondition) to airconditioned rooms for double or single occupancy.

What is the typical duration of the camps?
Camps usually run for one week or ten days, but we offer flexible options for shorter or longer stays depending on availability and participant needs.

Do I need to have prior experience to join the camps?
No prior experience is necessary! Our camps are designed to accommodate all skill levels, from beginners to advanced participants.

What is included in the camp package?
Most camp packages include accommodation, meals, training sessions, equipment rental and wellness activities. Specific inclusions may vary by camp. Travelling costs (flight fares, Visa fee and Airport Transfers) are not included in the package price. We are happy to assist.

Do I need a visa to travel to Sri Lanka?
Yes, travelers require an Electronic Travel Authorisation (ETA) or a visa to enter Sri Lanka. Its valid for 30 days and you can apply for your ETA online before arrival here... http://eta.gov.lk or get it at the Airport on arrival for 60 USD.

Does it make sense to buy a local SIM Card?
Even there is WiFi in all public areas of Jungle Beach Ahungalla its good to buy a Dialog SIM Card in the arrival hall of the airport for around 10 USD and you should be covered with internet access and super cheap calls for the whole stay.

How do I get to Jungle Beach Ahungalla from the airport?
Jungle Beach Ahungalla is approximately a 1,5-hour journey from Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB). We recommend booking an Airport Transfer with us or arranging an Uber or Pick me for convenience.

What is the best time to visit Sri Lanka?
Sri Lanka's climate varies by region; however, the best times to visit generally fall between December and April for the Western and Southern coasts, and April to October for the Eastern coast.

What transportation options are available in Sri Lanka?
Public transportation is readily available, including Tuk Tuk's, buses and trains. We also recommend using ride-hailing apps like Uber for convenient transport within cities. Our own vehicle with driver is also available for bookings.

Are there any activities outside the camps I can participate in?
Absolutely! Sri Lanka offers a wide range of activities including wildlife safaris, boat safaris, cultural tours, surfing, snorkelling, diving and visiting ancient temples. Our staff can help arrange excursions based on your interests.

Are meals included in the camp package?
Yes, all our camp packages include daily meals, mostly Full Board packages. Our menu features a variety of local and international options catering to different dietary preferences including vegetarian and vegan dishes. Glutenfree and lactosefree options are available on request.

What is your cancellation policy?
We offer full refund if cancelled 4 weeks before your arrival. 50% will be refunded if cancelled 2 weeks before arrival and no refund will be given if cancelled less than a week before arrival.

Can i book my camp and accommodation separately?
Yes, we offer flexible booking options. You can choose to book a camp and accommodation as a package or separate, depending on your needs.

Which Airline should I choose to come to Sri Lanka?
We recommend Emirates or Qatar Airways from Western Europe with a small stop over in Dubai or Doha. Travelling time from e.g. Germany incl. stop over will be 12 to 14 hours. There are also direct flights from Frankfurt with Sri Lankan Airlines or from Zurich with Edelweiss Air with a flight time of less than 10 hours.

Can I bring my children to the Camp?
A few of our camps are family friendly and your kids are warmly welcome. Please check the description of the camp and you will find even programs for the kids which can be booked on request.
